MARS

The MARS (Managing Attacks from Remote Sources) project aims to explore DDOS scenarios where micro-burst attacks can affect performances of services that could be impacted by micro interruptions, e.g. due to bandwidth saturation. While huge and persistent DDOS attacks are common to intercept, micro-attacks are hard to be highlighted on traffic graphs which usually show a 5 minute average.
