The Security Mission and Information Group (SMI2G) Event brings together European-wide innovators and professionals working in the Security sector every year.

The 2024 edition, which was held in Paris on 22-23 May, was a success with the participants.

As in previous years, the event took place with the traditional formula: plenary sessions with notable speakers, expert panel discussions, bilateral meetings and pitch sessions where project ideas for calls under the Horizon Europe Cluster 3 Civil Security for Society and Digital Europe Cybersecurity programmes.

One of the main objectives of the event is to help participants create new partnerships and consortia for new research proposals on security topics.

By participating in SMI2G 2024 event, we met various stakeholders in the security sector, shared experiences, discussed ideas for new projects and explored collaboration opportunities for upcoming security calls expiring in November 2024.
